The Haircut!

Abbie has been begging to get her hair cut for months now! She has waited patiently to have 10 inches to cut off so she can donate it to Locks of Love. She has asked at least once or twice a week if she has 10 inches yet! She was so excited Sunday when we measured it and found that her hair had grown long enough!!! I am so proud of her for being patient and wanting to donate her hair! This morning while I was brushing her long hair I said," Abbie I am sad, aren't you going to miss your hair?" her reply was, "no, now I wont get syrup in it or lots of knots and snarls, it will be easy to wash and brush now!" I think it turned out really cute and she loves it!! Thanks Nicole!!

Great job Abbie! Malia has also been waiting for her hair to grow out so she can cut it and donate it, but I think we may be waiting until she is 16!! I think she may have the slowest growing hair on earth!! Anyway, it looks so cute Abbie, we are proud of you!!
