The Gala

The company Ben works for was nominated (and won!) the Entrepreneur Of the Year Award for Finance from Ernst and Young. We were invited to the event at the Salt Palace. Again we got to dress up, this time Ben in a tux, he looked awesome!! Our girls slept over at my sisters house so we could have the whole night to ourselves with no worries, thanks Corina!! We had such a great time together and the event was so great, it was awesome to see so many driven people!

PS. if you are wondering why the separate pics....? We were alone so we had to take them of each other... hee hee!

Hold still...?

These two girls are the loves of my life (and their daddy)! Izza wanted to be part of Abbie getting her new haircut pic taken so she sat next to her. They were being so silly and wiggly. They just kept saying, "cheese" and "love you mommy" and just giggling!! It was so fun, they love to be silly! Then when I looked at the pics there isn't one with both facing forward and no blurs! I had to post them anyway, they are too cute!!

The Haircut!

Abbie has been begging to get her hair cut for months now! She has waited patiently to have 10 inches to cut off so she can donate it to Locks of Love. She has asked at least once or twice a week if she has 10 inches yet! She was so excited Sunday when we measured it and found that her hair had grown long enough!!! I am so proud of her for being patient and wanting to donate her hair! This morning while I was brushing her long hair I said," Abbie I am sad, aren't you going to miss your hair?" her reply was, "no, now I wont get syrup in it or lots of knots and snarls, it will be easy to wash and brush now!" I think it turned out really cute and she loves it!! Thanks Nicole!!

The verdict is in!

I had my doctor appointment this morning..... He changed his original percentages and now we are 99% + sure that we have two more girls coming into our family! They are both very healthy and growing strong! One was very hyper and the other was so calm. It was so fun to see them! I feel them moving around all the time, its an amazing thing and I feel so lucky to be able to have them!!

Happy Father's Day!

We love our Daddy!! Ben works so hard for our family! When he comes home he loves to play with his girls and make us all laugh with his goofy songs and dances! He is such a fun Dad to his girls and a great husband to me! We are so proud of him and all that he has accomplished! He is a great role model for our girls and a hero in their eyes! Happy Father's Day, We love you!!

Banquet night

Ben's company had a banquet night, a trial run for the big banquet in Atlanta next week! It was so fun to have a reason to get dressed up and meet all the people he has been working with. Ben's dad was in town so he stayed at the hotel with the kids and even put them to bed for us!! Thanks Jay!! We were able to enjoy dinner and the presentation together! It was so great to to have the night out!

Lagoon!

We have been able to go to Lagoon a couple of times while we are up here! The girls love it! I was so surprised at how much Izza loved the rides. She wanted to do everything by herself! We have had so much fun going to Lagoon with Corina and the kids! Thanks for letting us tag along!!:)

Sunday walk

We have been in Salt Lake for almost 3 weeks! It has been a fun way to pass the summer! Ben has been very very very busy. He has a big project that will be released on June 25th so we are up here for that so we can see him on Saturday nights and Sunday! Our first Sunday we went on a hunt for animals, it was Abbie's idea. She saw a deer and found some little bugs on the weeds. Izza got to see some flowers and pick some weeds. It was great day!

ReUniTeD!

Yes!! We are back with our Daddy! Ben made it back Saturday night, we counted down the hours, minutes, and seconds to see him again! We got to watch his plane come in and the girls were so excited, Izza was screaming and pointing to him through the window!! Ben asked about his garden, and to my surprise Abbie told us she checks on it everyday, she peeks out her window in the morning when she wakes up and then at night when she is going to bed. She told Ben that is was growing and looking good!! The garden has become a Daddy daughter place, they love to go outside with him and check on all the new growth! We are so happy to have our daddy back!
Next, we are off to SLC for the whole month!!:) come visit!!

Perecentages.....?!?

I am not sure how much to trust a percentage..... We had an ultra sound yesterday. I am a little over 16 weeks pregnant and the doc wasn't able to give us 100% on what the babies are. The percentage break down... 90% girl and the other 75% girl!!!! I guess those are pretty high percentages, but it was the last thing we would ever has thought would happen. We had joked about it being two girls and laughed. When the doc gave us the news all I could do was say, "no way" and just laugh!! I think we are still holding out for that 25% chance of a boy... we had a hard time seeing one of them and he had originally said he suspected it was a boy before saying 75% girl... We have another apt on the 20th and he said we would be able to confirm and be 100% sure. The doc said if I do go shopping save the reciepts (maybe false hope). Either way we believe we will have the kids the Lord wants us to have and we are so excited that they are healthy and growing!
